Requirements to materials

Language: We accept articles in English and Spanish. 

Volume: 1000-1500 words. If it’s longer, it’s fine. 

Illustrations: If you’re looking for personalized designs such as infographics or flashcards, similar to those featured in this article, our editorial team is here to help! Simply provide a description of your needs along with the first draft of your article. Keep in mind that while we strive to accommodate all requests, our design resources are limited, and we may not be able to fulfill every image request.

To set up your author profile, please provide your first and last name, job title, workplace, LinkedIn profile, and an optional link to your personal website. Additionally, we request a 1×1 photo of yourself. You can submit all this information through the form below.

Author and Company Resource Links: You may include two links—one to the author’s website and another to their LinkedIn profile. Any additional links to the author’s resources or their company’s content, especially those that could be seen as native advertising, must be published under commercial agreements.

Terms of collaboration 

We collaborate with experts on a pro bono basis, allowing them to share their valuable experience and insights. In return, we offer them guidance and increased visibility within our community.

Deadlines: We don’t set strict deadlines for experts but we request an estimate of when to expect the articles. 

Final Publication Decision: The editorial team at LingualNeeds carefully reviews the completed article before making a final decision on publication. If needed, we may request clarifications, additions, or modifications to ensure the piece meets our standards.

Editing: Every submission goes through a crucial editing stage. By submitting your article, you consent to potential modifications in the following areas:

• Change titles and meta description 
• Change or add images
• Edit spelling or make more substantial changes such as adding sentences and paragraphs 
• Optimize an article in the future if we deem it necessary 

The author always approves the edited version a few days before publication.

Publication Timeline: Typically, your material will be published within 2 to 3 weeks after we receive the first draft. Rest assured, we’ll provide you with an estimated publication date to keep you informed!

Promotion: We’re excited to amplify your text across our platforms, maximizing its reach to a wider audience. We also encourage you to share it within your own network for even greater exposure. Don’t forget to tag @LingualNeeds when you share the article!

Submitting the material 

To submit your request, kindly fill out the form provided. If you meet our criteria, you can expect a response within five working days. Please be aware that your request may be declined for several reasons, including but not limited to:

• Your previous work for a competing brand
• You are a (freelance) writer looking for opportunities to guest post  
• No experience in the education field and topic you want to cover 
• Missing information in the submission form
• The final piece doesn’t match LingualNeeds content standards
