Online interest in dating, proposals, flowers, Valentine’s Day
LingualNeeds harnessed Google Data from Keyword Planner to analyze search trends from January to December 2023. This analysis revealed key insights into the average monthly search volumes, providing a clearer picture of user interests throughout the year.
We began with a foundational set of keywords, which allowed us to compile an extensive list of 120 romantic terms related to online dating, engagement rings, flower bouquets, and Valentine’s Day ideas. We analyzed this keyword list, along with their search volumes, and tailored it to target each of the 50 cities using Google’s advertising platform.

TripAdvisor was used to find the total number of ‘romantic’ restaurants per 10,000 people.

Booking.com was used to find the total number of ‘romantic’ hotels per 10,000 people.
